KARAISKAKI TOWERS

Two stone towers with battlements were the hideout of the “son of the nun”, to which he would retire after his armed attacks against the conquerors with the other fighters of the Greek Revolution, while also controlling passage through this inaccessible region. The northeastern and southwestern towers even to this day proudly recount the stories of the brave men with hope deeply rooted in their soul.
